Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong spoke highly of Lao Ambassador Sounthne Sayachak’s contribution to the stronger bilateral ties during her term in Viet Nam at a farewell reception on August 11 in Ha Noi.

The Party General Secretary congratulated Ms. Sounthne Sayachak for being elected as member of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee at the 9th National Party Congress, and expressed hope that she will, in her new position, continue making contribution to developing the special solidarity between Việt Nam and Laos.
Ms. Sounthne Sayachak thanked the Vietnamese Party, State and people for having always supported and helped her country significantly and effectively. She also said Laos will do its best to bring the bilateral ties to a new height.
